  1. With the holiday season here, the kids are going to have more toys. For me, its either they learn how to manage their toys or they share them with others.

  2. The best way to manage too many toys is to give them away. Unless my kids know how to stow them properly, the toys stay. If they don’t know how to stow them properly, then it’s good bye. It’s non negotiable for me.

  3. Here’s an additional tip. I usually give my son the option to sell some of his toys. This way, he’ll have the money to buy new toys.

    1. We did that this summer. Amazingly, my kids opted to save their money. I’m very happy with that. But I’m happier that their room is a lot cleaner now.
