In reply to ADarren. I super agree with you. Looks like he's doing something LOL. I'd recommend Sittercity anytime. I started using it three years ago and since them, I never had problems with finding and dealing with sitters. It has made my life a lot easier.

It helps a lot that the sitters already have a background check. However, a current and valid background check is very important to me. Personally, I would run one myself especially if the background check available is already a couple of months old. I want peace of mind and that’s why I want a background check that’s current.

I think you won’t be able to send messages to the sitters on a free membership. That kinda defeats the purpose of using Sittercitty. I also want to make sure that I can run background checks so I would rather go for a paid membership. Nonetheless, the free membership is a good way to familiarize yourself with Sittercity.

I signed up for a free Sittercity account five months ago. I just wanted to check out their process of connecting to a sitter and it turned out that it was very simple. In addition to that, I could even see the sitters who live nearby and that was pretty impressive considering it was coming from a free account. Anyway, I eventually signed up for a premium membership and I am not disappointed at all.
