You’re not going to be able to take care of your kids if you’re sick. No matter how you look at it, you’re going to be useless. So you might as well get some rest and hire a babysitter. The sooner you get some rest, the sooner you’ll feel better.

A regular sitter comes in every single day now. She actually comes in every morning to help out and she stays till lunch time. Before she leaves, she always makes sure that the house is cleaned up. That’s a big help for me since I can get to run some errands before the kids come home from school. I have stopped trying to do everything because it’s useless. I will just end up feeling stressed out and unappreciated. So I might as well just hire help.

You said it very well. Hiring a babysitter is NEVER an option, it’s a NEED. Moms need a break especially when they’re sick. I’m never going to think twice about hiring a babysitter from now on. Thanks 🙂
