In reply to Jack. I don't understand. What part did it say that grandparents cannot watch the kids? The way I understand it, grandparents are just being spared from the responsibility but are not being preventing from watching their grandkids. Why judge a mom and call her terrible? I don't get it.

As a grandparent myself, who is fortunate enough to have my grandchildren close, I get to spend lots of time with them and they LOVE every minute of it. Your comment, and attitude toward having your parents NOT watch your kids, is SELFISH! Shame on you! You’re a terrible mother and person!

I’m guilty of this. I always depend on my parent to watch my kids. I feel so guilty now. But given that you have a promo code that will allow me to try out sittercity for three months, I’ll sign up. This should be good news for my parents.

Oh my ….my parents are too old to watch my kids. 🙂 For me, Sittercity is the best way to find a child care provider that has been trained and certified to watch children.

My parents love my kids very much. But I would NEVER leave my kids with them. Not that I don’t trust them but I want someone that can really watch my kids.

If I have to leave my kids with a sitter, my mom comes over to over see the situation. But I do have a sitter that’s in charge of the house. My mom just observes if the sitter is okay with my kids. Since I have been hiring from sittercity for the past six months, my mom has been giving me positive feedback.

I would never think of asking my parents to watch my kids. I need some one with professional training in child care. I always look for some one that has some medical expertise. That’s not hard to find in Sittercity.

I have three sons and they can be really challenging. My parents can’t match their energy level. I don’t even think they can survive a day watching them. That’s the reason why I’m a member of sittercity. I would rather find a sitter for my 3 sons.
