One of the reasons why I was reluctant to try Sittercity was because it was online. But amazingly, I found the site easy to use.

The free access was definitely helpful when I started. Up to now, I’ve never looked anywhere else but Sittercity.

My kids are very close to her but I still prefer to hire a sitter when needed. I think it’s better that way so that my mom doesn’t end up spoiling my kids while I’m gone. With a sitter (yes, I hire from Sittercity) I usually establish my house rules and have peace of mind that they will be followed.

Since I always hire a long-term sitter, I usually go for the Enhanced Plus. It verifies Social Security no. and the background check goes ten years back. I like that it covers a longer period of time.

It’s very easy to find someone who can drive and fetch my kids at school. I don’t have to go through the entire list of sitters to find someone who fits my needs. I can just filter them so that I end up with a list of sitters who are worth looking at. It’s such a time saver for me.

Up until then, I had never used it since I found no need for it. But now that I’m a mommy, it’s the only service I feel safe with. I just filter my search so that I can find someone near me. That was something I thought wasn’t possible at all up until I used the service. That’s why I’m really happy with Sittercity. I know the sitters I hire just live nearby.

It’s very helpful for new moms like me. Although I’m familiar with Sittercity (who isn’t), I’ve never really had a chance to use it until now. I just gave birth to twins and to say that they’re a handful is an understatement. The sitter I found on Sittercity is a pro. She knows exactly what to do and is never daunted by the fact that she has to take care of two babies. She’s amazing. I wouldn’t know what to do without her.
