Sure, I rely on her a lot but if I have to leave the house for work or do some errands, I call a sitter. It’s better that way.

It’s not a smart thing to do. I want someone who can make smart decisions in case of an emergency. That’s why babysitters should be mature. Maturity comes with experience and someone who is barely 18 just doesn’t fit the bill.

I rely on her a lot but when it comes to babysitting her little brothers, well, I would still rather hire from Sittercity. It’s a safer practice to do so. I feel lucky that when the babysitter is with my boys, my daughter oversees everything. So it works out fine but I still wouldn’t rely on my daughter to watch over her little brothers.
